The Global Family & Private Investment Offices team ("GFO") is a sales and client servicing group, within the Wealth Management division, specifically dedicated to supporting ultra-high net worth individuals and families (>$200m of investable assets), their charities and foundations. Given their wealth, these families act like institutions but require a personal and high touch approach, as well as the highest level of discretion. Our families' wealth is mixed in nature with some being multi-generational inherited wealth and some being new entrepreneurial wealth. With the diversity of their investments, they often take a broad range of products and services from Northern Trust including asset servicing (custody), fiduciary, fund administration, investment management and banking/credit.

The Senior Account Manager acts as the day-to-day client contact for our family members, family offices and their nominated representatives. They will liaise directly with internal partners to resolve issues and hence will be required to build an effective network throughout the bank to find solutions to issues raised. Working closely with the Relationship Manager they will also help assist in driving growth opportunities and additional business.

The GFO team is seeking an enthusiastic, self-motivated and ambitious individual looking to grow in experience and knowledge alongside the group as we expand our client base in the region.

The key responsibilities of the role include:Building trusted client relationships through engagement, effective communication and consistent delivery.Responding to client instructions and queries immediately and effectively.Independently resolve issues and problems by using your internal network and product knowledge to explain and implement solutions in a timely manner.Executes daily client activity, oversees transaction processing, handles inquiry resolution, obtains appropriate documentation, and ensures systems information is up to date.Informing clients of any substantive changes to processes and procedures adopted by Northern Trust.Assisting the client to navigate Northern Trust, being a central point of contact for operational matters.Facilitate client's ability to use online NT applicationsEnsures accurate set up and review of fees. Timely and accurate client invoicing and fees collection.Proactively work with clients to minimize risk and anticipate needs.Escalate client concerns in a timely and accurate manner.Follow up with internal parties on any queries/issues which arise from meetings within 24 hours.Maintain all documentation/files as appropriate to each client relationship.Coordinate all requests from clients with regard to account opening/closing, global markets and authorized signatories.Open/ Close accounts.Raise requests to remove/ add users for on-line client system and maintain a list of users.The successful candidate will benefit from having:
