individual to join our Operations team as a

Deployment Applications Specialist . The Deployment Applications Specialist is a field role accountable for delivering solar roof installation training to construction professionals.

This role requires

deep technical knowledge and prior experience in the roofing and/or solar sectors .This position is remote but will require frequent travel.This role is responsible for providing instructional learning and hands-on training on a jobsite and/or training facility in order to drive installation quality and compliance.The ideal candidate must enjoy collaboration across multiple teams to support the business. As GAF Energy grows, the Deployment Applications Specialist will be a key contributor in implementing flexible and sustainable installation training processes to ensure the optimum customer experience.What will you be doing?

60-75%: Delivering hands-on, in-person, on-rooftop training for contractors learning to install GAF Energy solar products on live job sites (frequent travel required)15-25%: Assisting with the development of solar roof technical installation training resources and online courses for remote consumptionCultivating a holistic view of performance problems, identifying root causes, and suggesting training-based solutions

5-10%: Performing other duties as assignedWhat do we require from you?

BA/BS or equivalent work history in Construction Management, Business Administration, Education, and/or related fieldDeep technical knowledge and experience in the roofing and/or solar industriesMust be fluent in both English and SpanishFamiliarity with training concepts, methods, and techniques utilized in adult educationProficiency in standard office and presentation softwareProject management finesse, including the ability to facilitate organizing and managing multiple priorities, people, and projectsStrong communication skills across a wide variety of settings and audiencesAdaptable, personable, innovative, high tolerance for ambiguity and pressureComfortable working as a team player in a startup environment where no job is too smallAble to lift a minimum of 15-20+ pounds in equipment and toolsMust be able to wear ANSI rated harness, climb Type 1A ladders, and perform work at heights using safety equipment rated for 310 lbsWilling to travel regionally and nationally up to 75%; drivers license requiredPhysical Requirements

Must be able to wear safety equipment and perform work at heights, as requiredMust be able to lift and/or move up to 50 poundsMust be able to climb ladders and/or stairs.Must be able to sit in a sedentary position for a prolonged period of time, especially while driving.Specific vision abilities including close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to focus.Must be able to walk, stand and maintain balance on sloped surfaces such as roofs.Frequent sitting, walking, standing, and occasional climbing; stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and balancing.Frequent use of eye, hand and finger coordination enabling the use of tools and equipment.
