We are looking for people who have a passion for serving others while providing an excellent service experience to our guests from arrival to departure. A friendly smile and cheerful customer service to set the tone for our guest to enjoy their time at The Westgate Hotel.

Drivers are responsible for driving a passenger van to and from the hotel to San Diego International Airport. Supports the functions of the Valet and Bell Services including but not limited to; luggage assistance, transportation arrangements, valet parking, responding to guest requests, and supporting the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service.

Responsibilities:

Provide shuttle service to Airline guests to and from airportConsistently offer professional, friendly and engaging serviceBe knowledgeable of daily check ins and check outs, airline airport shuttle times, catering groups, and restaurant activityEnsure the timely and efficient transfer of luggage to and from the guest's roomMake certain the guest is familiar with their room upon arrival i.e. temperature control, safe, etc.Maintain a presence in the lobby when not delivering luggage to guest rooms, offering assistance to GuestsAssist guests regarding hotel facilities in an informative and helpful wayFollow department policies, procedures and service standards, including all safety policiesResponds to inquiries and promotes the hotels services, in person and on telephone, by explaining products/servicesProvides the guest with up-to-date hotel information in order to enhance customer relationsBe well groomed and in uniform with name tag at all timesProvides assistance to other employees and departments to contribute to the best overall performance of the department and hotelWill provide customer with parking information and receipt in exchange of handed-over keysWill check vehicle for any damages and note on ticket , carefully inspect, record and drive valet vehicles to and from the designated valet parking areasAs guests depart, Garage Parking Attendant will properly process their ticket through CVPSAll shifts maintain cleanliness of Hotel GarageOther job duties as assignedQualifications:

Regularly works in both Indoor and outdoor environmentsAbility to move up to 100 lbs., with wheeled assistanceMust be able to exert physical effort in transporting or lifting overhead 20-50 or more poundsPhysical activities include walking, talking, standing, stooping, hearing, seeing, talking, bending, reaching, fingering, feeling, touching, writing, grasping, handling, stretching, balancing, pushing, pulling, reaching up and down, and remain stationary at times throughout work periodsConsiderable repetitive motion of hands, wrists, shoulders and back is required.*Must have a valid class "C" Driver License with Passenger Endorsement**
