POSITION SUMMARY

The

Network Engineer

provides engineering services for network infrastructure.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot LAN and WAN service issues on Cisco, Meraki, and Fortinet platformsConfiguration of switching platforms, Cisco 3750x, 9200 and 9300, Cisco Nexus, FortiswitchConfiguration of routing platforms, Cisco ASR and ISR, Fortigate, MerakiInstallation of network hardwareActivation of leased WAN circuitsParticipate in daily team meetings and various project meetingsCreate and update network documentationCreate and review change scriptsWork with security team to mitigate active threatsQualifications

Education & Experience

Required-Associates' degree in Information Systems / Computer Science or equivalent technical trainingActive CCNA preferredMinimum of 5 years of experience working in Information Systems, preferably in the healthcare industryMinimum of 3 years of hands on networking experience with Cisco projectsMinimum of 3 years of SD-WAN experienceExperience troubleshooting and configuring LAN Infrastructures, STP, Ether-channel/Port Channel configuration, Dot1.Q Trunking, VTP, 802.1x, DHCP, DACLsExperience troubleshooting WAN infrastructures, VRFs, routing protocols, IP ACLs, leased circuitsExperience troubleshooting AAA and TACACS+Experience designing IP SchemesExperience troubleshooting 802.11 wireless issuesExperience troubleshooting client and network issuesExperience configuring SNMP monitoring and loggingKnowledge, Skills & Abilities

Must demonstrate strong ownership of responsibilitiesExcellent documentation and communication skillsProficiency with Visio and Office applicationsExcellent customer service skills"Can do" attitudeAbility to travel up to 10% per year for deploymentsAbility to multitask between strategic tasks while resolving operational problems
