Job Summary:
Working with multiple projects simultaneously, the IT Program Manager is responsible for the oversight and management of large projects across the Information Management & Technology Department.This individual will be responsible for technical and application coordination of Epic upgrades. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, creating and managing project plans, defining project schedules, allocating resources, and monitoring progress, delivering and installing technology solutions, assist the project team with the design and development tasks, and lead the process of issue identification and resolution. The IT Program Manager will align project objectives with company goals and ensure the project team is clear on the objectives, manage risk tracking process, monitor and manage the scope of the project, and manage all documentation. Responsible to provide task schedule and level of effort estimates; document assumptions. Assist in the analysis and formulation of system requirements including new applications and change requests and communicating those requests to Information Management and Technology and/or vendors.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors degree and a minimum of five (5) years relevant information systems experience (Healthcare Environment preferred) or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
Preferred Qualifications:
PMP education/certification preferred. Prior project management experience preferred.
Work Days:
Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
