Job Description:

Toppan Merrill is looking for an HR Business Partner to join our team. You'll support our Service and Operations teams. In this position you are a thought-partner to senior business leaders on matters relating to organizational development, change management, performance management and building and sustaining high performing teams.

You'll be responsible for consulting and advising organization leaders on adapting and applying HR initiatives and programs within their teams. You will oversee the execution of various HR programs, including team member engagement, talent management, training, performance management and HR communications. You'll assist with escalations involving regulatory matters and/or performance management. You will ensure equitable application of organization policies and procedures.

The preferred location for this position is St. Paul, MN and is a hybrid position, with time in the office as required to support your client group or the broader HR team.

ResponsibilitiesEngages with Service and Operations leadership offering thought leadership and partnership on organizational and people-related strategies.Engages with leaders to understand evolving business needs and associated people and organization requirements.Collaborates with HR functions and specialists to ensure proper alignment and focus of HR programs, initiatives, and priorities.Collaborate with recruitment to ensure timely and effective talent acquisition strategies.Develops, implements, and monitors progress of strategically focused HR programs, initiatives, policies, and operations.Monitors HR programs and initiatives company-wide to ensure effective focus and positive impact on enhancing people and organization capability.Provide coaching and support to managers and employees on HR policies and procedures.Analyze HR metrics to identify trends and recommend solutions to improve performance.Monitors industry and the competition for potentially impactful people, organization, and related management changes, trends, and challenges.Guide and participate in investigations and ensure timely resolution and completionCollaborate with leaders on organizational structure and design, prepare detailed job descriptions and define job levels in partnership with managersServe as a liaison between employees and managers to develop solutions to work-related concernsKnowledge, Skills & Abilities

You will need:

4-yeaer degree or equivalent experience and at least 3 years of progressive experience in Human ResourcesWorking applied knowledge of federal, state and local labor, wage and employment lawsExcellent Presentation SkillsExperience consulting with business leaders on change managementExcellent interpersonal and persuasive skills; ability to gain support and buy-in from key partners across the companyStrong customer service orientation, project management, and follow through skillsHigh level aptitude at multi-tasking, excellent time management skills with the ability to meet deadlinesAbility to travel as requiredExperience working in a fast paced, high growth, dynamic business environment; tech industry experience desired
