The Space Dynamics Laboratory (SDL) is seeking a Software Engineer to become a part of our team. We are the world leaders in developing frameworks that support high speed image processing and distribution of image products. Our team implements an iterative software development methodology, providing solutions to our customer at regular intervals. You should possess familiarity in one or more of the following areas: software design, real-time processing, APIs, signal processing, GPU processing, graphics, data visualization, and database design.

Basic Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering field5+ years of experience in software development (3+ with MS degree)1+ years leading a technical teamWork experience in requirements development and analysisExpert object-oriented design approachAbility to provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior engineersMust be a US citizen and be able to obtain and hold a US Government security clearanceRequired Skills:

Experience in at least one of the following languages: C#, C++, JavaExperience with web application full-stack developmentAbility to write clean, consistent, and well-documented codeAbility to design, develop, and analyze complex and difficult software programsExperience with software test methodologies (unit, integration, etc.)Experience with agile development methodologies and DevOps conceptsExperience with system level integrationExperience with use of version control software, ticketing and documentation tools (such as Bitbucket, JIRA, and Confluence)Familiar with utilizing patternsDesired Skills:
