With over 60 years of mission success, the Space Dynamics Laboratory (SDL) is focused on serving our customers, enhancing our multi-domain capabilities, and developing leading-edge technologies. We are looking for a leader to enhance our Strategic and Military Space (SMS) Division team. The SMS Division at SDL supports the Department of Defense and Intelligence Community through technology advancements aimed at protecting our Nation through space and ground programs. WHO WE ARE LOOKING TO HIRE

SDL is looking for a Senior Program Manager that has experience leading complex space mission systems (satellites, payloads, ground stations, etc.) in Logan, Utah. This Program Manager will lead teams of highly technical engineers and scientists to deliver reliable and high-performance satellite ground systems software solutions. SDL is looking for leaders who are passionate about the space industry, motivated to support U.S. National Defense related missions and are excellent communicators. SDL's Program managers are at the forefront to our customers and ensures program and mission success. They drive program execution by maintaining tight schedules, risk identification and mitigation, prioritization of key program deliverables as well as effectively manage program resources and budgets. A Senior Program Manager at SDL is a champion of people and technology, a trusted and informed customer partner, and a demonstrated leader.

Required QualificationsBachelor's or master's degree in engineering, physics, or related field10+ years in program or project management in the space and satellite industryProven technical and business background in satellite ground systems software, including software development, integration, and testingExperience working the planning and scheduling of satellites using ground systemsEstablished credibility in the space industry and existing relationships with leaders in the DoD and intelligence communitiesDemonstrated success completing a multi-year program/project lifecycle (proposing, executing, delivering, and closing) in the space domainProven experience leading teams of 25+ peopleMust be a US citizen with active Top Secret Clearance (or equivalent) or higherPreferred Qualifications
