IT Project Manager

Insight Global is seeking a mid-level Project Manager to lead the implementation of a new phone system for a North Carolina county government. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing large-scale IT projects, specifically with prior experience in Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) system implementations. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with various departments and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of the new phone system implementation project- Develop and manage project timelines, budgets, and resources- Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal teams to ensure project milestones are met- Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies- Ensure compliance with county policies, regulations, and industry standards- Provide regular project updates to senior management and stakeholders- Facilitate training and support for end-users during and after the implementation- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the project lifecycle
