is revolutionizing biomarker analysis to advance precision health, leveraging Simoa technology for ultra-sensitive protein detection. This transformative technology aims to enable earlier disease detection, better prognoses, and precise treatments, with the goal of significantly improving quality of life and longevity. ROLE SUMMARY:Quanterix is looking for an innovative, hands-on lab enthusiast, Chief Technology Officer (CTO) experienced in building new technologies in a lab environment. This key role demands a leader adept at pioneering new developments to drive growth.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:Develop new technologies, being hands on in the lab.Inspire and motivate to achieve ambitious business goals in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.Develop technology roadmap and platforms synergistic to existing ultra-sensitive SIMOA technology.Represent the company at various technology meetings/conferences.Technical advisor on inorganic opportunities.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:PhD in Chemistry, Physical Chemistry, Molecular Biology or Biomedical engineering.Experience developing concepts and building to commercial product.Life Science tools industry experience.Track record of innovative and impactful research.
EXPECTATIONS, COMPETENCIES, SKILLS & ABILITIES:Work from Billerica, MA, laboratories; 5 days a week.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with dependencies to cross-functional teams.Ability to effectively interact and communicate with multidisciplinary scientists, both internally and externally; excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills essential.Ability to think beyond existing solutions.Professionally persistent; drive technology and enhancements.Ability to solve complex problems and analyze issues; take initiative to collaborate with others to do so.Resilient & versatile; ability to adapt to change.Lead with industry technology awareness; stay up to date with market standards, new technologies coming into the market, and competitive advantage.
