Job Description

The Head of Market Access is a crucial role at Cubby Beds, responsible for building and leading our market access function from the ground up. You'll be instrumental in developing and executing strategies to ensure our products are accessible and well-received in the market. This role demands a high-impact individual who can work cross-functionally with our growth, operations, and business development teams, and who possesses deep expertise in the payer environment, particularly within the medical device or pharmaceutical industry.

Bachelor's degree in Health Economics, Business, Healthcare, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.Current or former clinical licensure is preferred.5-10 years of experience in market access, reimbursement, or a related field, with significant experience in the medical device industry.Proven ability to build and lead market access strategies from the ground up.Excellent communication and negotiation skills with a track record of successful stakeholder engagement.Strong analytical skills and experience in market research and data analysis.Knowledge of payer dynamics, pricing strategies, and regulatory requirements.Job Requirements

Develop and implement market access strategies for Cubby Beds' product portfolio, including creating a value proposition and clinical evidence portfolio to showcase product benefits.Design and execute a short, mid, and long-term coding and reimbursement strategy to support business growth.Cultivate and manage relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, policymakers, and payer representatives.Develop advocacy from clinicians, society, and patient sources, and ensure effective communication to key stakeholders, including medical and trade associations.Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards for product access and market entry.Collaborate with regulatory bodies and internal teams to manage approval processes and stay updated on regulatory changes.Conduct in-depth market research and analysis to understand industry trends, payer requirements, and competitive dynamics.Utilize insights to develop and refine market access strategies that align with business objectives.Create compelling value proposition presentations and communication assets, including ROI analyses, clinical outcomes, testimonials, and case studies.Develop and submit Value Dossiers and other evidence-based materials to support product reimbursement and coverage.Oversee pricing strategies and negotiate reimbursement rates to ensure favorable terms for Cubby Beds products.Manage reimbursement collateral and support materials for providers, patients, and internal teams.Partner with growth, operations, and business development teams to ensure alignment of market access strategies with overall business goals.Act as a sales enabler for customer-facing teams, including distributors, payers, and providers.Lead the project management of key deliverables and team members contributing to market access strategies.Track the effectiveness of strategies and provide regular updates to the executive team on performance and progress.Assist in developing a compelling value proposition and clinical evidence portfolio to demonstrate the value of Cubby Beds to payers.Create and communicate effective value proposition presentation decks and assets.Develop and implement coding and reimbursement strategies that support business growth.Secure advocacy and support from key stakeholders, including medical and trade associations and government bodies.Prioritize outreach efforts based on feedback and opportunities within the DME landscape.Serve as the SME for all payer and reimbursement needs and provide support to customer-facing teams.Compensation Information
