Perform conceptual, schematic, and design development budgetsReview plans for consistency and accuracyCompute costs by analyzing labor, material, and time requirementsPrepare work to be estimated by gather proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documentsResolve discrepancies by collecting and analyzing informationPresent prepared estimates by assembling and displaying numerical and descriptive informationPrepare special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trendsManage all levels of take-offs while applying unit pricesCollaborate with others on the construction team to successfully bid jobsDevelop into a leader within the estimating teamMPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. 5+ years of estimating experience, ideally with a commercial general contractorPreferably have a Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Architecture or a related fieldProficient with both hard bid and conceptual estimatingWell versed in Procore, Bluebeam and other estimating software'sExcellent organization skillsUnderstanding of Construction SystemsOSHA certification is requiredFlexibility to effectively deal with changing priorities and time lines though analytic problem solvingAble to work independently as well as in a collaborative team-oriented environmentWhat's on Offer
