Our client is a Chicago based company GC who has been in the industry for 45 years. They are a family owned company with a nationwide reach, and is heavily tied to the railroad industry. They are looking for a Lead Estimator who can be mentored and develop with senior level growth in mind.

Compute costs by analyzing labor, material, and time requirementsPrepare work to be estimated by gather proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documentsResolve discrepancies by collecting and analyzing informationPresent prepared estimates by assembling and displaying numerical and descriptive informationPrepare special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trendsPerform conceptual, schematic, and design development budgetsReview plans for consistency and accuracyManage all levels of take-offs while applying unit pricesCollaborate with others on the construction team to successfully bid jobsDevelop into a leader within the estimating teamMPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. The Successful Applicant

5+ years of estimating experience is requiredPreferably have a degree in Construction Management or a related fieldWell versed in Procore, Bluebeam and other estimating software'sStrong communication skillsComfortable in a client facing roleExcellent organization skillsUnderstanding of Construction SystemsOSHA certification is preferredFlexibility to effectively deal with changing priorities and time lines though analytic problem solvingAble to work independently as well as in a collaborative team-oriented environmentWhat's on Offer

A competitive base salary between $100,000-$130,000 (Depending on Experience)Competitive bonus structure, project/profit based.
