Overview

The Excess & Surplus Lines Service Team supports external agents, internal Underwriters and other disciplines as required. We support agents and end users nationwide. Agent and underwriter communication is primarily received via email; this is not a call center. The Excess & Surplus Lines Service Team's mission is to be the single point of contact for our agents and end users by providing high quality and innovative support.

This position provides analytical and administrative support to the Excess & Surplus business teams. The analyst will troubleshoot and resolve system related issues and operational challenges. Works with project teams and senior business analysts to make sure that the products and/or application development within the rating systems meet the needs of the end users. Interacts professionally with both external clients and internal business partners within the company.Maintains a solid understanding of AmTrust's mission, vision, and values. Upholds the standards of the AmTrust organization.

Responsibilities

Proficiently manage the resolution of reported issues, balancing the need for customer service and issue resolution with expertise and professionalism

Accurately and efficiently record all interactions with clients using an IT service management platformAnalyzes and identifies the sources of application problems and works with IT to successfully resolve application problemsManage and maintain user rights credential provisioning and communication

Qualifications

Experience in Commercial Property & Casualty insurance highly desiredExperience working on policy issuance systems with underwriting and testing knowledge of Excess and Surplus lines highly desiredBA/BS degree or equivalent work experience preferredStrong organizational, analytical skills and attention to detailAbility to adapt in an exciting, fast paced environment with the potential for unpredictable deadlines and shifting prioritiesPossesses excellent written and oral communication skills via multiple different communication channelsHighly proficient in multi-tasking and workload managementAbility to work well independently and as a team memberA driven and motivated individual who takes initiative and is eager to learn within the small commercial insurance space#LI-BL1#LI-HYBRID
