Overview

AmTrust is looking to build a world-class IT Asset Management (ITAM) Program. To support that effort, we are looking for an experienced IT Asset Management Analyst who will be providing support to our Global IT Infrastructure team. You will be responsible for the life cycle management of all company-owned IT Assets (hardware and software) deployed across the organization. This position will require you to have a strong IT background, be a self-starter and meet established timelines with minimal oversight to be successful. Also, the desired candidate will be detail and task oriented while at the same time capable of seeing the broader picture. Maintains a solid understanding of AmTrust's mission, vision, and values. Upholds the standards of the AmTrust organization.

Responsibilities

Identifying opportunities and implementing strategies that will reduce overall costs and improve organizational performance.

Monitors all IT assets from procurement through disposition for compliance to all regulatory bodies and corporate standards.Documenting asset details and tracking through the device lifecycle.Inputs, modifies, performs maintenance, and retires assets from asset management tools.Compares asset tool databases to ensure data is accurate and up to date.Managing the full lifecycles for software licenses and maintenance agreements.Provide contract support, license audit, and reconciliation efforts based on business/client needs.Performs audits of all IT assets throughout the enterprise to ensure compliance.Support activities related to the asset spend, licensing, entitlements, deployment, and reclamation.Works with other IT functions to identify and document procurement requirements and create requisitions for IT purchases and communicates with customers throughout the requisition process.Track renewal dates and coordinate with internal stakeholders and vendors to renew on time and at the appropriate levels.Data analysis and report generation related to the above responsibilities.Identify and help write Asset Management procedures and policies.Collaborates with technical staff to standardize and systemize routine reports and metrics to distribute to applicable management and other internal end-users.

Qualifications

Required :* At least three years of experience in IT Procurement / Asset Management, including managing contracts, software licenses, and maintenance agreements.* Must have a strong IT background, be knowledgeable of information technology infrastructure products, and possess a thorough understanding of current technologies and how they relate to the business.* Experience with Enterprising Agreements and the licensing options with software providers such as Microsoft and Adobe.* Excellent communication skills and ability with multiple stakeholders in a very dynamic and rapidly evolving environment.* Strong interpersonal skills to build partnerships with stakeholders and peers.* Detail orientated combined with strong organizational skills and an aptitude for analytical thinking.* Demonstrated ability to work well independently and as a part of a team.Preferred :* Strong Microsoft Excel Skills, including pivot tables.* Previous experience with ServiceNow* Previous experience with Oracle ERP* Understand ITIL concepts, framework, and be at least V3 certified.* IAITAM Certifications such as CHAMP or CSAM preferred.* Working proficiency with standard ticketing and inventory management tools.This job description is designed to provide a general overview of the requirements of the job and does not entail a comprehensive listing of all activities, duties, or responsibilities that will be required in this position.
