Overview:

To provide organizational and technical support for the analysis, design, configuration, and documentation of PHCs computer systems, and technical and problem resolution support to the systems user community. The Senior IT Business Analyst addresses complex systems issues and may work with technical leads and business users to resolve issues; works with business users to gather requirements and recommends a solution, including new systems and functionality; may provide training to business users and IT personnel; and provides coaching and guidance to IT Business Analysts. This position may function independently and applies depth of experience gained from previous successful assignments.Responsibilities:Maintains in-depth knowledge of PHC systems from a technical and user perspective.Performs analysis, design, configuration, and testing of assigned systems.Uses various resources to troubleshoot and resolve system issues.Tests, schedules, and takes part in implementation of new releases and upgrades.Works with users to define new business functionality.Analyzes new systems and functionality and makes recommendations to business users and IT.Facilitates design, development, testing, and implementation for large projects.Writes processes and procedures.May serve as the lead on large or complex projects.Provides status reports to senior management on large projects.May be considered the system expert on one or more systems.Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:Education and ExperienceBachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience; special training (6 months to 1 year) of analysis and project management; at least five (5) years experience working as a business analyst.Special Skills, Licenses and

CertificationsAdvanced knowledge of Microsoft Office tools. Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate with technical and non-technical staff; ability to take business requirements and turn them into technical design; excellent documentation skills.
