Position Purpose
Plan, design, develop, and launch efficient business, financial, and operations systems in support of core organizational functions and business processesMaintain, support, and upgrade existing systems and applicationsResearch, design, document, and modify software specifications throughout the production life cycleApply proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help maximize the benefit of IT system investmentsKey Responsibilities
Meet with decision makers, systems owners, and end users to define business, financial, and operations requirements and systems goals, and identify and resolve systems issuesLead design sessions in prototyping new systems for the purpose of enhancing business processes, operations, and information process flowReview and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems and develop strategies for improving or further leveraging these systemsPrepare and deliver reports, recommendations, or alternatives that address existing and potential trouble areas in operating systems across the organizationTrain end users to operate new or modified programsInstall software products for end users as requiredAssess and develop long-term strategic goals for production databases in conjunction with data owners and department managersRespond to and resolve database access and performance issuesMonitor database system details within the database, including stored procedures and execution time, and implement efficiency improvementsDesign and implement redundant systems, policies, and procedures for disaster recovery and data archiving to ensure effective protection and integrity of data assetsPerform additional support functions as necessary to enable the IT Department to meet business requirementsEducation, Experience and Skills
B.S. degree in the field of computer science, information systems, or software engineering or equivalent work experience.Minimum of 5 years of work experience in overseeing the design, development, and implementation of software and hardware solutions, systems, or products5+ years of Extensive experience in Infor Syteline technical development & admin areas5+ years of Extensive experience in Infor Syteline functional areasWorking knowledge in Industrial manufacturing business processesWorking technical knowledge of current ERP programming languages.Working knowledge of network and PC operating systems.Working knowledge of current network hardware, protocols, and standards.Practical knowledge in utilizing reporting tools to generate data to meet end user requirements, specifications, and report criteria, to include integration with 3rd party applications.Experience with core software applications and ERP Business Systems.
FLSA Status: Exempt/Salaried
Annual Salary Range: $88,800 - $106,500 DOE
