The team focuses on projects that protect Visa's core business/brand, deliver cost efficiencies and make informed technology strategic decisions.The Systems Analyst is responsible for developing and supporting new and existing data integrations in support of data warehouse reporting and analytics. This candidate must consistently manage multiple competing priorities, understand technology products and their use at Visa, and maintain proficiency in industry standards and best practices.**Essential Functions:*** Design, develop, and maintain SSIS automations in support of the department data warehouse* Design and build new data models to conform with the existing data warehouse architecture* Develop complex T-SQL queries and store procedures to extract data from various source systems* Assist with support of various department applications including patching and administrative tasks* Provide support to existing API integrations if required* Work with stakeholders to understand business problems and help develop project requirements* Performance tuning and optimization of data models for reporting* Perform data profiling and data understanding in order to integrate high quality data to the data warehouse* Collaborate with teams to deliver effective and efficient solutions and use established procedures, architectures and delivery methods**Qualifications**Basic Qualifications:2 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD, or PhD)Preferred Qualifications:3 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or more than 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD)Concentration in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related technical disciplineExpertise with SQL queries, data integrations, and data analysisExperience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI is a plusExperience with python, C# or other scripting language is a plusExperience with source control software such as Git or BitbucketSolid analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to think strategicallyUnderstanding of data centers and IT frameworks preferredAbility to conduct research and learn new technologies as neededAbility to collect and analyze relevant quantitative and qualitative data setsStrong communication skills including written, oral, and presentation abilitiesBusiness and technical writing skillsVisa has adopted a COVID-19 vaccination policy to safeguard the health and well-being of our employees and visitors.
