Position Overview:

The main focus of the Cycle Counter is performing cycle counts of inventory and to track and monitor inventory within the warehouse. This position requires strong reliance on accuracy, control, monitoring and coordination in order to confirm inventory and investigate count discrepancies.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

Perform daily cycle counts.Monitor and control inventory integrity.Maintain product identification, location, and lot code accuracy.Research inventory discrepancies and ability to reconcile them.Work with Inventory Specialist to resolve inventory problems in a timely manner.Open cartons, bundles, and other containers to count items and/or weigh materials to determine quantity on hand.Operates forklift and pallet jack to move material.Report discrepancies of over/under amounts and any damaged products.Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.Performs additional duties as assigned.

* Education, Knowledge and Skills *

High School Education or equivalent.Computer literate must be able to work in ERP system, to create and enter cycle counts.Excellent Attendance.Manufacturing experience, preferably in Inventory Control.Must be able to read, count accurately, follow directions and write legibly.Strong attention to detail, quality and accuracy.Team player who works to assist and support others.Strong communication skills.Demonstrated proficiency with weights and measures.Lean Manufacturing experience and Microsoft Office is a plus.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
