Inventory Cycle Counter

1st shift, Mon - Fri

$18 - $22 p/hr

Primary Responsibilities:

This position will be responsible for regularly scheduled cycle counts of finished goods, raw, packaging and in process materials.

Duties:

Maintain product identification and location programCompare physical inventory counts with inventory levels shown in ERP system.Reconcile any discrepancies and report them to the appropriate parties.Open cartons, bundles, and other containers to count items and/or weigh materials to determine quantities on hand.Resolve inventory problems in a timely mannerFollow all documented operating proceduresDocument damaged product and work with QA on containment.Participates in training and process improvement activities with production and warehouse teams.Investigate reasons for inventory discrepancies to help identify root causes for inventory errors

Other Responsibilities:

Perform other tasks as assigned by management.

Education and experience:

Minimum of 1 year in a warehouse environment. Recent experience with Cycle counting/inventory preferred. Previous forklift experience required. Must be able to work efficiently in a fast paced, multi-tasking environment, while keeping correct data. Basic computer skills; MS excel, word and email.

Position demands prolonged standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, regular use of computer and keyboarding and normal range of hearing and vision.
