Our Business Delivery team is comprised of consultants with the expertise to assess and solve complex business problems. We partner with clients to drive critical business initiatives, employing effective methodologies to create shared understanding of challenges and business needs, define high impact solutions, facilitate leadership alignment, optimize business processes, and maximize the value and quality of solutions delivered.
We are looking at hiring Senior Consultant or Principal level talent for this role with a current focus on candidates that bring strong Quality Assurance (QA) experience.
What You'll DoEvaluate, understand and address complex client needs as part of a programCreate a shared understanding of business problems and opportunities across organizational levels at the center of an initiativeDefine solutions and workstream-level plans to achieve desired business outcomesAlign business strategy, processes, capabilities and structure within a program to achieve business objectivesElicit, analyze, and document the requirements of a project, program, or product and communicate them clearly to stakeholders, managing requirement changes as necessary to maximize the value of solutions being delivered within constraintsAssess current-state and define desired future-state processesManage stakeholder engagement and communication with senior client leadersAssess and validate whether solutions will fulfill requirements and stated business benefits of initiatives and projectsDefine and deliver functional quality assurance across all types of projects and technology stacksStrive to meet an 80% annual client billable utilization goalAt Principal level, expectations include ability to achieve at least $1M in managed or sold revenueTeam members that play a QA Architect role will:
Partner with senior client and project stakeholders to understand key quality priorities and develop a testing program that best supports organizational and program-wide objectivesOversee the development of detailed testing strategies, frameworks and plans across all phases and types of testing for a project or program (e.g., functional, integration, data migration, regression, UAT)Lead QA teams that perform both automated and manual testing, from planning and test design through execution and reportingCollaborate closely with project leaders throughout delivery to iteratively plan, manage, report on each phase of work
What You'll Bring
4-8+ years of work experience, preferably with a background in consulting experienceA detail-oriented, logical, and analytical mindset and issue-based problem-solving skillsBig picture thinking and a passion for helping organizations solve their most critical, complex business challengesCapability expertise in business analysis, technical analysis, business architecture, process design, quality assurance, data analysis, and solution and/or product ownershipDeep business, industry, and technology expertiseExpertise in technology/system development methodologiesExcellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skillsAbility to be onsite at the client or Slalom office 2-5 days per weekTeam members that play a QA Architect role will additionally bring:
Experience leading QA teams in multi-workstream programsExperience leading implementation of test management tools across teams (e.g. JIRA, TestRail, HP ALM)Automated testing experience using one or more common open-source frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Robot Framework) or Low-code tools (e.g., Tricentis, Provar, Copado, Eggplant)SQL proficiency
