Our Agile Leadership team is composed of consultants with deep expertise in transforming organizations through agile adoption, program delivery, and agile frameworks to solve complex business problems. We collaborate closely with clients to drive critical business initiatives, leveraging agile methodologies to foster a shared understanding of challenges, align on business needs, and define high-impact solutions. Our team excels in facilitating leadership alignment, providing Agile coaching, and continuously improving processes to maximize value, adaptability, and the quality of solutions delivered.
We are looking at hiring Senior Consultant or Principal level talent for this role with a current focus on candidates that bring strong Product Ownership (PO) experience.
What You'll DoDefine and communicate the product vision, roadmap, and key deliverables for client engagements.Partner with business stakeholders to gather and prioritize product requirements, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.Translate business needs into actionable user stories and product features for development teams.Serve as the voice of the customer, ensuring that customer needs and feedback are integrated into the product development process.Lead and participate in Agile ceremonies, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, and retrospectives.Collaborate with cross-functional teams (developers, UX/UI designers, QA) to ensure timely and high-quality product delivery.Ensure continuous alignment of product goals with business objectives, adjusting priorities and managing expectations as needed.Utilize data-driven insights to measure and optimize product performance, driving decisions based on key metrics.Maintain close relationships with client leadership, acting as a trusted advisor to ensure product success and long-term value.Mentor junior product owners and contribute to the growth of Slalom's Product Management and Agile capabilities.Strive to meet an 80% annual client billable utilization goalAt the Principal level, expectations include the ability to achieve at least $1M in managed or sold revenueWhat You'll Bring
4-8+ years of experience in a Product Owner or related role (Product Management, Business Analysis, etc.).Strong experience working in Agile environments, with a deep understanding of Agile principles and methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).Proven ability to manage product roadmaps, prioritize backlogs, and deliver value incrementally.Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to a diverse set of stakeholders.Experience working closely with customers, gathering feedback, and integrating it into product development.Comfortable leading discussions around trade-offs, timelines, and scope with business stakeholders and technical teams.Knowledge of various product management tools and techniques (e.g., Jira, Rally, Confluence, Aha!, etc.).Experience using data and analytics to drive decision-making.Ability and commitment to be onsite at the client or Slalom office 2-5 days per week
