JOB SUMMARY
Seeking a highly motivated and experienced Oracle Financials Functional Manager to lead and oversee the day-to-day activities of our financial systems team specifically overseeing Quote to Cash and Acquire to Retire business tracks including Accounts Receivable, Order Management, Projects (Billing and Capital), and Fixed Assets.
This role is critical in ensuring the effective operation and support of Oracle Financials EBS, managing a team of three business analysts, and driving major projects, including potential migration to Oracle Cloud Fusion. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of Oracle Financials, and a commitment to continuous learning and development. The ideal candidate will have the ability and willingness to get in the system to autonomously contribute to deliverables as well as delegate and develop the team.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Team Leadership & Management:
Supervise, mentor, and guide a team of three business analysts. Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment. Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback. System Support & Troubleshooting: Oversee the day-to-day support of Oracle Financials. Manage and prioritize support tickets, ensuring timely resolution. Troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues both autonomously and with help from your team. Coordinate with IT and other departments to resolve technical problems. User Training & Support:
Develop and deliver training programs for end-users. Provide ongoing support and guidance to users to ensure effective system utilization. Create and maintain user documentation and training materials. Project Management:
Lead and manage major projects and system enhancements. Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets. Coordinate with stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure project alignment with business goals. Monitor project progress and address any issues that arise. System Migration:
Plan and execute potential migration from Oracle Financials EBS R12 to Oracle Cloud Fusion for respective modules. Conduct thorough system analysis and requirements gathering. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a smooth transition. Manage change management processes and user training during migration. Continuous Improvement:
Identify opportunities for system enhancements and process improvements. Stay current with industry trends and best practices in financial systems and technology. Encourage a culture of continuous learning and development within the team. Communication & Collaboration:
Act as the primary point of contact between the finance department and IT. Facilitate regular meetings with stakeholders to discuss system performance and improvement opportunities. Ensure clear and effective communication within the team and with other departments. Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field. Minimum of 6 years of experience in Oracle Financials EBS or Fusion functional roles. At least 2 years of experience in a managerial or supervisory role BEHAVIORAL COMPETENCIES

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES
In-depth knowledge of Oracle Financials modules (GL, AP, AR, FA, OM, etc.). Experience with Oracle Cloud Fusion is a strong plus. Proficiency in SQL and other database querying languages. Strong understanding of financial processes and accounting principles. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS / WORKING CONDITIONS
Office environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk and use hands.
