A Pension Program, Life Insurance, AD&D and opportunities for growth and development.Sealcoat Laborers will perform a variety of physical tasks that include general labor and using power tools and/or hand tools.**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:*** Properly follow all company policies and OSHA regulations for safe working procedures and environment* Assist construction/paving crew with various duties such as: shoveling and raking, using power tools, safely backing/dumping trucks into paver.* Seal Coat Labor such as cleaning, squeegeeing, and edge work.* Signal operators of construction equipment to facilitate alignment, movement, and materials with shovel.* Follow direction of Foreman as to daily tasks and expectations for each specific project or jobsite.* May be called upon to run small power tools such as jack hammer.* Digs, spreads, and levels construction materials.* Assists in the placement, moving and dismantling of signs, barricades, cones and other traffic control devices.* The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.**Qualifications:*** Must be 18 years in age or older.* High school diploma or General Education Degree GED is preferred.* Previous related experience in the construction field.* Willingness to work in a team environment and assist co-workers or supervisors with other duties as required.* Must be willing to travel and work away from home.* Must be willing to work nights and weekends when necessary.AFFIRMATIVE ACTION STATEMENT:Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States.We are proud to be an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action employer, and consider qualified applicants without regard to race, color, creed, religion, ancestry, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, disability, veteran status or any other protected factor under federal, state or local law.
