A Pension Program, Life Insurance, AD&D and opportunities for growth and development.*****Some of the duties of the position include:**** Responsible for pre/post trip inspections, making sure truck is clean, lubrication is current, and brake adjustments made.* Responsible for transporting materials and equipment to job sites.* Ensure adequate fuel levels in truck(s)/ equipment.* Maintain driver e-logs as required by law.* Communicate over 2-way radios.* Work on the construction crew as needed while on job sites.* Maintain job site and equipment to the highest possible standards to maintain a professional image.* Follow all PPE, safety and company rules are followed.* Other duties as assigned.***Requirement for the position include:**** 1 year of road maintenance experience (preferred)* Thorough understanding of commercial drivers laws (weights, endorsements, hours of service, etc.).* Basic understanding of mathematics as related to weights.* Travel is required***Working Environment:******This is a commercial driver/ road construction worker position*** *.* While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration.
