Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect to drive the architectural vision across our businesses. You will play a pivotal role in crafting the technology strategy and ensuring the successful delivery of innovative products, platforms and services that meet the evolving needs of our customers in the life sciences industry.

Solution ArchitectureCraft solutions that align with business objectives and requirementsCollaborate with individuals involved in the project, such as clients, project managers, and developers, to support the delivery of solutionsLead technical discussions and provide guidance to ensure successful implementation of solutionsConduct detailed analysis of existing systems and infrastructure to identify areas for improvement and optimizationStrategy and Governance

Provide string contribution to the overall strategy and roadmap, ensuring alignment with business goals and industry trendsCollaborate with domain experts to establish and implement architectural standards, guidelines, and best-practices to ensure consistency, maintainability, and quality across software solutionsParticipate in architectural governance processes, including design reviews, risk assessments, and forumsProvide leadership and guidance to development teams during the implementation and delivery of solutionsEnsure alignment to architectural principles, security standards, and performance requirements throughout the software development lifecycleCollaborate with information systems teams to align software solutions with infrastructure and operations requirementsTechnology and Innovation

Learn and stay-up-to-date on new technologies, industry trends, and best-practices in software architecture, cloud computing, and data managementUse your skill to evaluate and prototype new technologies, frameworks, and architectural patterns to drive innovation and continuous improvement within the organizationCommunication & Engagement

Communicate technical concepts and architectural decisions to both technical and non-technical team members, including business leaders, product managers, and customers.Facilitate architectural discussions, design reviews, and decision-making processes, ensuring alignment and agreement across teamsDevelop and maintain comprehensive architectural documentation, including solution definitions, diagrams, technical specifications and assessmentsRequirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent experienceProven track record in architecture, design, and implementation, with a focus on enterprise-level solutions.Extensive knowledge of software architecture principles, design patterns, and best-practices.Ability to lead architectural discussions and influence decisionsGood communication and social skills, with the ability to convey concepts to diverse audiencesStrong problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently as well as in a collaborative environment.Hands-on experience with technologies such as microservices, cloud computing (e.g., AWS, Azure), data management, and security. Formal Cloud Solution Architect training and/or certification.Experience in architecting and delivering solutions for life sciences, or related industries is a plus.
