Summary:Join our team as a Tier 2 SOC Analyst and put your analysis, monitoring triage and escalation skills to work. In this role, you will:
Monitor client various dashboards (Splunk, AMP, etc.) and triage as necessary, escalating to Tier 3 as appropriateDocument cases and procedures and interface with vendors with respect to user issues
Requirements:
A strong interest in hands on security monitoring demonstrated by work experience, academics, and security certificationsWillingness to train and help implement new workflows with the Tier 1 SOC AnalystsA focus on customer service and customer relationsStrong communication skills Team player mentalityComfortable understanding of how indexes workExperience w/ CPSM toolsExperience with compliance frameworksExperience with Jira and case management a plusExperience with Azure Office 365 and SharePointBasic Windows Server administration skillsBasic Linux server administration (Red Hat Enterprise Linux) skills
What you'll need to be successful:Cloud Proficiency:
Intermediate familiarity with AWS and AzureKnowledge of services like Lambda, ECR, and KubernetesSplunk Experience:Proficient in creating queries using Splunk query language and operatorsUnderstanding of indexes and source types.CPSM Tools:
Experience with Wiz or similar tools like Prisma CloudAbility to understand and analyze findings in CSPM toolsCompliance Knowledge:Experience with compliance postures and frameworks (e.g., FedRAMP, CMMC)Incident Response:
Experience in handling and investigating incidentsA strong interest in hands-on security monitoring demonstrated by work experience, academics, and security certificationsInfra-Automation & Containerization:Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes, Git, Python, and Terraform.Mentorship:
Experience mentoring juniorsWillingness to train and help implement new workflows with the Tier 1 SOC AnalystsLeadership & Communication:

Qualifications The ideal candidate will have:
Strong knowledge of AWS Security ServicesHands on experience running queries, responding to alerts and creating dashboards in SplunkExcellent verbal and written communication skills as well as organizational and problem-solving skills.

Compensation:The pay rate range above is the base hourly pay range that Aditi Consulting reasonably expects to pay someone for this position (compensation may vary outside of this range depending on several factors, including but not limited to, a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, location and end client requirements).
