**Laborer - Manufacturing - 2nd Shift** Ubicacin **Jonesboro Processing Plant** Departamento **Operations & Production** Shift **Evening** **Position Summary** :The production associate is responsible for performing a variety of production focused tasks on a rotated basis to support the daily production goals in the stuffing department**Essential Duties, Functions and responsibilities:**Process product using tools and equipment providedFollows all work safety policies and guidelinesObserves equipment operation, notifying appropriate personnel of any malfunctions and/or safety issues/concernsAdheres to all USDA and GMP (Good Manufacturing Processes) product standards and guidelinesMaintains a clean and organized work areaWill be required to rotate to various functions within the processing departmentPerforms other duties as assignedAccountable to maintain punctual and regular attendance for scheduled work hoursWill be required to assist in clean up at break times and end of shift including dumping trash and operating compactor**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:**Ability to work in a fast paced environmentAbility to communicate effectively and follow verbal and written instructionsMust be willing and able to perform physical requirements of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.Must be at least 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United StatesMust pass a background check, drug screenMust be able to read and writeMust be able to read a scaleAbility to multitask and visualize product issues such as air in product and air voidsAbility to meet time standards for each line (ex. 4 pieces of product per min)Properly place product in net (if applicable) correctlyProperly scale product to correct weight according to specsTroubleshoot problems at racking station as well as stuffing/netting stationAbility to place product in pockets correctly**Physical Requirements** :Standing (8 hours a day or more),Lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling (up to and including 50lbs or more)Reaching overhead (up to and including 25lbs)Climbing and adjusting stationary standsWorking with knives and hooksGripping, grasping and twisting using hands and wristsBending and stooping for long periods of time.Working below knee levels for short periods of time while rackingWorking above shoulder level for short periods while racking**Working Conditions/Department Description:**Work in damp and cold environmentWork with loud and noisy machineryWork in dusty environment when using spiceWork with raw meatWork in congested areas
