The WordPress Developer Contractor will support the Web team in building customized WordPress websites for clients as part of the overall site redesign process on projects as assigned. This primarily takes place on a project basis and includes everything from sitemap creation to website production.

As a Front End/WordPress Developer, you will...
Develop and customize WordPress websites for a variety of industries, business sizes, and brand stylesMeet with clients at the beginning of projects to gather insights and begin formulating plans for site design and developmentAssist in the creation of project timelines, sitemaps, and wireframesCommunicate project deliverables and timelines to internal and external stakeholdersAssist with website launchesWork cross-channel with SEO and Creative teammates (writers, graphic designers) when projects requireRequirements
Bachelor's DegreeExperience with the following:
Creating and launching applications from start to finishAdvanced WordPress customization (experience with custom templates and post types a plus)Creation of custom CSS to style applicationsHTML5, CSS3, PHP, and JavascriptVisual ComposerExperience with Siteground and Adobe Suite a plus
Ability to manage change and maintain a positive attitudeExcellent organizational, project management, and time management skillsCommunicates/cooperates well with others in a teamAbility to adapt to changing technologies and open to feedback / different approachesMinimum 2 years industry experience (outside of school)Nice to Have
Experience working with SitegroundKnowledge of Adobe Suite and graphic designExpertise in UX/UIExamples of sitemaps and wireframes you have createdApplicants should provide a resume and links to any online portfolios or 2-3 examples of work created with HTML5, CSS3, and/or JS.
