Your new role
As a Junior Construction Estimator, you will be an integral part of the pre-construction team, working closely with project managers and engineers to develop accurate cost estimates for various construction projects. Your responsibilities will include analyzing project plans, determining the cost-effectiveness of proposed building materials, and preparing bid packages. You will also assist in the negotiation process with subcontractors and suppliers and help maintain the company's cost database.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful as a Junior Construction Estimator with our growing company, you'll need to bring 1-4 years of experience in construction estimating or a related field, coupled with a relevant degree. Proficiency in estimating software, strong analytical skills, and a keen eye for detail are essential. You'll thrive in this role by combining excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively, all while committing to an in-office presence 5 days a week to maintain the integrity and precision of our project estimates.
