Orthopedic Spine Surgeon Opportunity in the Midwest

Orthopedics – SpineSBL has two Orthopedic groups, one in Mattoon and one in Effingham, each with 4 general orthopedic surgeons. One spine surgeon is hired to join Sept 2024. One position is open. We also have a contracted neurosurgeon who does spine surgery one day a week in the Mattoon location. We previously had a full time employed spine surgeon who built a practice easily with internal referrals. He left after 5 years and at that time his practice was 90% spine and he was earning more than $900,000 with plenty more potential for someone eager. Participation in general ortho call with the Mattoon group is required. SBL continually invests in the latest equipment and can offer both Rosa and Mako robotics as well as spine navigation, O arm and AIRO CT.Highlights include:$875,000 + bonus based on RVU production$75,000 sign-on bonus$60,000 total retention bonus (paid $20,000 at the end of years 1, 2 & 3)Quality bonus up to $50,000 (eligible upon earning base salary)33 days of time off5 days + $6,000 CME annually1:6 call
