POSITION PROFILE:
We're looking for an organized, good-natured Restaurant Supervisor prepared to assist Palihouse West Hollywood with daily operations. From ensuring a delightful guest experience to overseeing inventory and streamlining communication with the hotel staff, this role calls for a friendly disposition and experience in hospitality.
ABOUT PALIHOUSE WEST HOLLYWOOD:
Palihouse West Hollywood is situated on famed W 3rd St. and features 95 guestrooms, an indoor/outdoor pool lounge and a lobby, caf and bar that is open to locals and visitors alike. The Lobby Lounge, Caf and Bar is a charming meeting, drinking, and dining destination serving a California-centric menu, bespoke cocktail menu with daily happy hour, and weekend brunch, set in gorgeous indoor and outdoor spaces. THE TASK AT HANDYou're a friendly face that greets guests and enhances our guests' experience by bringing your own flavor to the restaurantMaking sure guests are having a fabulous time, from the moment they arrive until it's time to say goodbye.Creating a warm, friendly, and laidback atmosphere that turns first-time guests into regulars.Learning our steps of service, products, menu, and systems inside and out.Supervising the restaurant and offerings within restaurant to ensure excellent customer service.Consistently offering professional, friendly and engaging service.Ensuring service standards are followed while actively supporting the entire restaurant team.Handling guest concerns in a timely, efficient, and trusty mannerBalancing a combination of operational, administrative and colleague needs throughout a day of restaurant service.Assisting with the execution of onsite events, from public facing programming to private functions.Communicating effectively with all departments to ensure that customer service needs and expectations are fulfilled.Working with the F&B Manager on the scheduling of all food & beverage team members.Working directly with staff to assure food and beverage quality, good service, and cleanliness are strictly adhered to.Executing both opening and closing duties and maintaining an efficient, effective, and prioritized work schedule.Assisting and maintaining inventory and its protocols and systems.Learning and embracing our steps of service and brand standardsWHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Familiarity with MS Office, Google Apps and other organizational computer tools.Fluency in English both verbal and nonverbal preferred.Provide legible communication and directions.Compute basic arithmetic.Perform job junctions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy.Prioritize, organize, and follow up.Be a clear thinker, remaining calm and resolving problems using good judgment.Follow directions thoroughly and work with minimal supervision.WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU:
