Wurzak Hotel Group is looking for an Maintenance Supervisor to provide technical, administrative and managerial support to the Director of Engineering and Maintenance Department. The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the proper functioning and maintenance of all equipment and facilities within the hotel. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, an acute attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities:

Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical systems, and other hotel equipment to ensure they operate efficiently.

Diagnose and repair malfunctioning equipment or systems, including heating and cooling systems, plumbing, electrical, and other hotel infrastructure.

Maintains all maintenance and preventative maintenance issues: refrigeration, heating, plumbing, water treatment, preventative maintenance, convention center front and back of house spaces, A/C units, ice machines, lighting, kitchen equipment, emergency generators, water softeners, switch rooms, roof exhausts, electrical substations, etc.

Ensure that all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and standards. Identify and address safety hazards promptly. Understands and practices all lock out-tag out procedures in accordance with OSHA standards.

Respond to emergency maintenance requests promptly and efficiently, addressing issues such as power outages, leaks, or other urgent matters.

Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities. This includes documenting work performed, parts used, and any other relevant information.

Coordinate with other hotel departments to understand their maintenance needs and address any issues that may impact guest satisfaction.

Stay informed about new technologies and industry trends. Provide training to other staff members on basic maintenance procedures.

Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and functionality in guest rooms and public areas to contribute to overall guest satisfaction.

Conduct regular property walks and inspections of the hotel's physical facilities to identify and address potential issues before they become major problems.

Attends monthly staff meetings.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

7-10 years in general property maintenance or a related field, and relevant experience in hotel maintenance preferred.

1 - 2 years supervisory experience required.

High School or equivalent education required.

Certification: CFC preferred

Experience in PTAC Maintenance and repair a big plus!

Experience in Drywall fixing highly preferred.

Experience in Painting highly preferred.

Fire and Safety knowledge preferred.
