Eagle Health is seeking a Management and Program Analyst (FOIA) to support the US Agency for International Development (USAID), Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) section within the Information and Records Division of the Bureau for Management's Office of Management Services (M/MS/IRD).
The mission of USAID is to accelerate human progress in developing countries by reducing poverty, advancing democracy, building market economies, promoting security, responding to crises, and improving quality of life. Working with governments, institutions, and civil society, the Agency assists individuals to build their own futures by mobilizing the full range of America's public and private resources through its expert presence overseas.
Responsibilities:
Review, analyze, and perfect FOIA requests; contact the requester either by phone, email, or mail for clarifications about the request.
Prepare and transmit to the requester an acknowledgement letter using USAID templates as a guide.
Responsible for tasking and obtaining the requested documentation from the appropriate USAID unit(s).
Provide reminders to USAID offices that are delinquent in responding to search action requests.
Provide progress reports to the requester and document the administrative file to this effect.
Prepare and send "submitter notifications."
Analyze documentation for responsiveness and releasability.
Prepare draft Agency response to the requester for signature of the USAID FOIA Officer or his/her delegee.
Apply redactions and exemption codes as appropriate.
De-duplicate identical records.
Process and track requests in the Agency's official FOIA tracking database.
Utilize FOIA management system for processing Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) and Privacy Act (PA) requests.
