Insight Global is looking for a Field Service Engineer to join their team in Hillsboro, OR. This position is responsible for performing basic troubleshooting, install electronic equipment and communicate effectively with the customer. This position will need flexibility in their schedule, working either day or night shift, and has a travel component up to 15% of the time. To learn more about how we collect, keep, and process your private information, please review Insight Global's Workforce Privacy Policy: https://insightglobal.com/workforce-privacy-policy/ . - Military or Automotive Experience - Continued Education programs or training certifications within semiconductor industry- Bachelors degree from an accredited college in electrical engineering / electronics technology, mechanical engineering, physics OR Associates degree in electronics / electro-mechanical with up to 5 years of semiconductor maintenance experience in ALD, PECVD, EPI or Diffusion - 2+ years customer support background OR 5+ years manufacturing experience in final assembly or test of semiconductor capital equipment - Basic understanding of engineering principles like OHM's law, electrical theories, ideal gas theories and troubleshooting techniques
