Insight Global is looking for a Field Service Engineer to support a large semiconductor client in Hillsboro, OR working Monday through Friday. This person will be modifying, upgrading and installing semiconductor capital equipment. This person will be responsible for working with basic hand tools to ensure the equipment is performing, troubleshoot any mechanical or electrical issues that come up and perform with safety at front of mind. You will be traveling up to 70% of the time. Day to day you'll be expected to performs on-site service and repair, troubleshoot equipment problems, maintain records as required, coordinates activities with peers, supervisor(s) and customers to minimize equipment downtime and interruptions, order and install parts, respond to emergency service calls and instruct on system operation and maintenance.
