Here's What You'll Get To Do
Create stock length cost proposals for customers based on elevation take-offs, using our price book and computer softwareProvide detailed estimates to our customers in a timely manner. Work from architectural drawings and specifications, shop drawings or elevation take-offsFollow up on estimates and provide feedback concerning market pricing levelsAchieve acceptable sales and margin levels. Monitor actual vs. estimated costs and work with leadership to adjust standards accordinglyProvide consultation, coordination, and assistance to our clients, sales force and internal personnelMaintain detailed and organized records of bid documents, correspondence and other project specific informationRegular and predictable attendance, safely performing tasks and adherence to all safety policies and procedures are essential functions of this job.What We're Looking For
Minimum of 5 years prior experience estimating mid to large size glazing projects from architectural drawings and specificationsAbility to read, interpret, & understand architectural drawings and specifications and provide detailed take offs and estimates that incorporate different building envelope solutionsStrong attention to detail is criticalExperience using computer software estimating programs to prepare estimates of aluminum glazing systems & their applicationsStrong understanding of metal systems and infill options as well as their applicationsStrong geometry & math skillsOrganized, self-starter with the ability to handle numerous projects, phones, prioritize workload & work with minimal supervisionMust be able to communicate effectively & maintain professional conduct; excellent written & verbal communication skillsAutocad/Revit experience is a plusWorking knowledge of fabrication and installation or related college degree in construction is a plusPrior construction industry estimating knowledge is requiredWork Today, Get Paid Tomorrow!
