OBE is seeking an

Architectural Business Development Representative

for the DC metro area. This key individual will be responsible for creating demand for the entire Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope product line by promoting to architects and project stakeholders.

Conduct effective and strategic calls and appointments with architects, developers, owners and consultants promoting Oldcastle BuildingEnvelopeBuild a pipeline of projects and relationships that lead to salesPromote Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope to architects and specification writers to become the project specification Basis of DesignLearn competitor products & develop strategies to successfully promote Oldcastle BuildingEnvelopeWork closely with the Business Development Team, Territory Sales Representatives and Strategic Account Sales Team in developing strong relationships with architects and industry influencersInform leadership of market demands and product trendsHere’s What We’re Looking For

Previous experience in; promoting to commercial architects, strong product knowledge in storefront, window wall, curtain wall and glass products, glazing system application and ability to interpret architectural plans and specifications, and building integration knowledgePrevious sales experience and college degree preferredStrong professional presence with the ability and confidence to professionally present to large groups, specifically architects and project teamsEstimated Travel 40%AutoCAD a plusAn uncompromising safety-first approach in the workplace. At OBE we have each other’s back*Must live in the DC Metro area
