eGroup Enabling Technologies is looking for a Network / Systems Engineer to join our team and help eGroup Enabling Technologies extend our delivery of solutions throughout the nation.
Do you have a passion for on-premise Microsoft Azure and On-Premises Data Center Solutions? We are looking for an experienced technologist to join our team to help deliver speed and certainty to our clients.
The ideal candidate will have broad technical "hands-on" experience with on-premises Data Center solutions as well as familiarity with Microsoft Azure cloud solutions.
Job Responsibilities:
Network Design & Implementation:
Design, implement, and maintain complex network infrastructures utilizing Cisco routers and switches, including the Nexus and Catalyst series.Develop and deploy secure and scalable network architectures to support business needs.Integrate Cisco wireless solutions, ensuring optimal coverage and performance.
Routing & Switching:
Configure and manage Cisco routers and switches, ensuring reliable and secure network operations.Implement advanced routing protocols (e.g., OSPF, BGP, EIGRP) and Layer 2/3 switching technologies.Perform network optimization and troubleshooting to resolve issues and improve performance.
Firewall & Security Management:
Configure and manage Cisco firewalls (ASA, Firepower) to protect network assets and enforce security policies.Implement and maintain network security solutions, including VPNs, ACLs, and IDS/IPS systems.Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability management to ensure network integrity.

Microsoft Azure Express Route ImplementationMicrosoft Azure Networking (vNet, Azure Route Tables, Gateways, VPNs)
Hyperconverged Infrastructure Deployment, Configuration, Support (Nutanix, VxRail, vSAN)Backup and Recovery Platforms, including Rubrik & CohesityRequired Certifications - Must be active to be considered
Cisco CCNA or CCNP (if CCNP is NOT active, it must be renewed within 90 days)Preferred Certifications
VMware VCP-DCVMicrosoft AZ-700Microsoft AZ-104
Travel Requirements: Must be willing and able to travel to customer sites when required.
This position requires some on-site work. Travel expectation are in the 10 - 25% range.
