Responsibilities

Work in an Agile environment as part of a full design and development team, participating in scrum ceremonies, interacting with and supporting our customer.Support the development team in deploying, maintaining, and troubleshooting web applications.Deploy new CI/CD workflows and improve the scope of existing ones.Manage and maintain cloud infrastructure using IaC and CaC to provision and mitigate vulnerabilitiesDevelop and maintain IaC and CaC to automate system reliability and cybersecurity tasks such as STIG implementation and vulnerability patching.Manage Kubernetes clusters such as OpenShift to ensure availability and cybersecurity complianceMonitor and maintain applications running in Kubernetes (OpenShift) such as Prometheus/Grafana, ElasticSearch, Istio, Ingress Controllers, and othersMust be able to respond to incidents and handling alertsAnalyze and resolve issues in the development and production environmentsThoroughly document and maintain records of processes, configurations, and system changesResolve performance bottlenecks in the infrastructure and applicationsQualifications

4+ years of professional experienceBachelor Degree requiredCandidate MUST currently possess an active Secret security clearanceMust have experience deploying services with AWSMust have experience with deploying and maintaining Infrastructure-as-Code using declarative languages such as Terraform, Kubernetes, and DockerExperience monitoring AWS infrastructure and Kubernetes/OpenShift stacksExperience maintaining applications running in OpenShiftExperience maintaining OpenShift clustersExperience maintaining AWS Resources supporting OpenShift ClustersExperience Windows domain managementCybersecurity mitigations on both AWS resources, Windows and LinuxMust have experience with end-to-end automation of CI/CD containerized pipelines (Jenkins,GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, Ansible), including security checks during stages, automating software builds, testing, and deploymentsUnderstanding of Containerization and Orchestration platforms such as Docker and Kubernetes, and contain-native workflowsMust have experience with Ansible, Puppet, or Chef as configuration management tools for maintaining and configuring servers as well as experience with change tracking processesMust be proficient in scripting (ie. Python, Ruby, or Shell)Must have experience setting up and configuring monitoring tools for log analysis (Nagios, ELK, Grafana, and/or Prometheus)CANES ACS experience a bonusUnderstanding of security best practices and the ability to implement security measure in CI/CD pipeline and infrastructureMust have experience within Agile environment and Agile methodologies and DevOps principles to facilitate collaboration and continue improvementMust have strong communication skills and communicate effectively with cross-functional teamsPhysical Demands and Work Environment

While this position primarily involves sedentary work in an office environment and/or home-office environment, there are some physical demands associated with the role, including:
