Position Summary

The Senior IT Strategy and Portfolio Manager is a key organizational leader responsible for providing organizational, operational, and strategic leadership to align IT strategy with business strategy to support business growth by enhancing and effectively leveraging the organization’s technology platforms, leading practices, and state of the art technologies.

This leader will have a demonstrated track record of delivering innovation, continuous improvement, and efficiency; a proven ability to keep current in the solutions space; and an advocacy for driving change and accountability within the IT team and throughout the organization.Able to develop IT roadmap based on current and future business needs.Translate and execute IT strategy into tactical plans in a cost-effective and timely manner.Identify crucial IT capabilities to develop a strong and enabled IT organization.Effectively support the leadership team by providing input and guidance on relevant IT issues.

Duties & ResponsibilitiesDefine and implement global IT strategy and roadmap (3-5-10 years).Develop and maintain Corporate IT budget.Manage external vendors and contracts.Develop IT organization capability to support IT strategy,Champion Frontage’s IT Steering Committee governance body to drive continuous improvement.Ensure internal IT needs are met including help desk, network, telephony, laptop and desktop security.Ensure, maintain, and monitor proper cybersecurity strategies and controls to protect Frontage’s data and networking systems, including firewalls, switches, back-ups, data storage, and other infrastructure devices and systems.Provide leadership for complex IT project management and coach and mentor IT team.Lead data integration/analytics strategies, including optimizing data analytics system to support operational and clinical decision-making based on key performance indicators and value-based metrics.Develop and support timetable for regular and necessary upgrades and replacement of equipment, software, and hardware, including servers and computers, to ensure overall functional health of technology infrastructure.Oversee—and implement, where needed, IT Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), employee training materials, and user guides.Prepare and update technology plans and reports, including disaster recovery plans and technology assessments, and review and update internal policies, protocols, and SOPs related to technology.Develop IT quality standard and maintain ISO certification.Develop and deploy Frontage lab cyber security training strategy and programsEducation, Training & Experience

A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or related field is required. Master’s Degree is preferred.8-10 years of IT experience including 5 years of management experience in motivating and leading a team.Experience in the pharmaceutical, or CRO industry a plusStrong understanding of IT infrastructure and protocols, including networking, storage, databases, web, Internet/IOT, mobile devices, security etc.Prior experience implementing data analytics structures (rules, business logic, data acquisition, centralized data storage from multiple sources, data collection and integration, etc.).Experience supporting technology initiatives and change management impact on people.Experience troubleshooting technology issues and resolving quickly and satisfactorily.Experience in developing an IT strategy/roadmap, defining system requirements with input from key stakeholders and implementing enterprise-wide, technology systems.Considerable exposure and expertise with business productivity software such as Microsoft.ISO Certification preferred.Strong interpersonal communication and presentation skills, and the ability to present complex technical information in a clear, concise manner to a diverse audience.High level of integrity and a strong work ethicKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Exceptional willingness to troubleshoot issues and fill gaps to accomplish business objectives.Proficiency in computer hardware and software usage including billing software, all MS Office applications, email, scheduling software, online conferencing, and more.Demonstrated ability to work comfortably and effectively within a diverse, multicultural, multi-generational environment.
