The candidate will be expected to conduct studies in infectious disease epidemiology, locally and/or globally, including a focus on COVID-19, HIV infection, sexually transmitted infections and translational implications and impacts. The successful candidate will have a demonstrated history of obtaining extramural funding and the ability to teach graduate-level epidemiology courses. Candidates should be able to develop and maintain an independent research program focusing on infectious disease, associated risks and inequities, interventions, global health, and health policy; and collaborate with the USC Institute on Inequalities in Global Health and the newly established Population Health COVID-19 Pandemic Research Center.Minimum Qualifications:PhD in epidemiology or related field, or MD with training in epidemiology.At least ten years of research experience.Demonstrated track record of acquiring extramural funding for research.Experience collaborating with other researchers, including those outside the United States.Ability to address infectious disease outcomes and inequalities in work.Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and organizational skills.Apply here and upload a CV and the names of two references.
