SMS has an open position for a full-time Intermediate Systems Administrator at Fort Huachuca in Sierra Vista, AZ. This position is part of a team for cloud based enterprise solutions in support of the Army's Unified Directory Services (AUDS) and responsible for leading the way in cutting edge technology, and the spearhead for the Army's upcoming unified management platform.

Ability restart/bounce the Azure components/clusters/VMs.
Create and manage swap space on deployed cloud system per policies in support of the deployed cloud systems and environments.Assign end-users to systems and troubleshoot issues as needed.Create custom scripts to automate support processes where applicable: PowerShell, Java etc.Ability to Power off/ Down the un-used VMs Ability to identify issues at Azure level and resolve.Manage Azure subscriptions and profiles.Create and manage policies that affect global enterprise
Qualifications
Experience/EducationMinimum of an Associates of Arts Computer Science or Information Technology.4+ years of related experience.CertificationsIAT II (Security+ CE, SSCP or equivalent) certification requiredAZ-100 - Microsoft Azure Infrastructure & DeploymentQualificationsClear understanding of Cloud Computing services.Ability to work in a team environment to balance solution, schedule, and tools.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as teamwork, facilitation and negotiation.Ability to manage the effort, communicate status and mitigate risks & issues.Ability to analyze project management needs and tailor industry best practices to suit environment.Ability to work with cross-functional teams with diverse technical skill sets to support successful performance across operations and projects.Ability to update project dashboards on a recurring basis.ClearanceActive DoD Secret security clearance or the ability to obtain an interim Secret clearance.Must be a US CitizenSMS is a dynamic systems integrator established in 1976, delivering talented teams and innovative, cost-effective solutions and services to support our customers' missions for more than 47 years.
