We have an immediate need for a 1st Shift Quality Inspector in the Rochester, NYÂ area. This is a 6 month, contract-to-direct opportunity.Starting pay is dependent on relevant experience.Job description:
Candidate must possess a working knowledge on a wide variety of inspection methodologies, including standard hand gages, Optical and Form systems along with CMM operations.Ability to read and interpret blueprints, customer specifications and standards and a strong GD&T skillset is required.Role encompasses all facets of Inspection in a Precision CNC manufacturing environment. This includes 1st piece and Layout Inspection, In-Process and Final Inspection.Ability to set up parts and operate a CMM using PC-DMIS is required.General CMM Programming skills using PC-DMIS is a PLUSMaintains the traceability of documentation and all objective evidence related to production.Assists in the selection of gaging to maximize repeatability and reproducibility of measured parameters. Experience conducting Gage R&R is a PLUSAssists with the development and execution of PPAP’s a PLUSSupports the completion of First Article Reports (AS9102) while collaborating with Quality Engineers and Manufacturing Engineers.Performs incoming material and part inspection along with verifying associated documentation for conformance and preparing inspection packages.
Required:

1-3Â years minimum experience in a manufacturing environmentExperience conducting Gage R&R is a PLUSGeneral CMM Programming skills using PC-DMIS is a PLUS
