Performs the duties of the count team including slot drop, and coin redemption. Sorts, counts, wraps, and records the contents of game drop boxes, bill validator boxes, and various property outlet revenues.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND Responsibilities:Sorts, counts, wraps, and records the contents of game drop boxes, bill validator boxes, and other revenue from various property outlets according to set proceduresResponsible for the general upkeep of the count roomNotifies Count Supervisor of malfunctioning equipmentResponsible for counting and recording of slot drop according to set proceduresPrepares bank deposit of coin and wraps bank purchases of coinResponsible for daily reports, minor repairs and maintenance of count room equipmentTransfers carts to and from the main bank to the vault in the cageMeets the attendance guidelines of the job as outlined in the Prairie Band Casino & Resort Team Member HandbookAdheres to regulatory, departmental, and company policies and encourages others to do the sameOther duties as assigned by Count Supervisor and/or Casino ControllerKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE:
Required
Must be 18 years of ageHigh school diploma or GEDMust be able to read, write, speak, and understand EnglishBasic computer skillsMust be able to work a flexible schedule to include all shifts, nights, weekends and holidaysMust present a well-groomed appearance as outlined in the Prairie Band Casino & Resort Team Member HandbookBasic mathematic proficiencyMust be able to work individually as well as get along with co-workers and work as a teamA record of satisfactory performance and reliability in all prior and current employmentPreferred
Prior Count Room (casino/bank) and 10-key experiencePHYSICAL, MENTAL, AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:
Must be physically mobile with reasonable accommodationsMust be able to stand for extended periods (8 hour shifts)Must be able to respond calmly in crisis and stressful situationsMust be able to tolerate areas of secondary smokeMust be able to bend, stoop, reach, kneel and grip items as necessaryMust be able to distinguish colorsMust be able to respond to visual and aural cuesMust be able to operate in a confined areaMust be able to meet the level three or medium work requirements based on the Department of Labor Dictionary of Titles: Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly.
