We are now recruiting for a **Class 1 Driver** to join our hard working Transport team in Worcester**,** transporting products so we have everything in the right place, at the right time.**Role Responsibility*** Carrying out trunks to our other depots* Ensure security of the load* Adhering to EU driving regulations and RT Working time directive compliance* Complying with ArrowXLs policies and procedures* Following all accident and defect reporting procedures* Work in partnership with other departments in ArrowXL**The Ideal Candidate**With the amount of applications expected for this position, we will only be able to proceed forward with candidates who match our essential requirements stated below:* Hold the correct driving licence to drive a Class 1 vehicle* Fully completed your driver CPC training* In possession of a digital tachograph card* Experience of driving a Class 1 vehiclePlease also be aware that all our drivers are subject to a criminal record check and this is a mandatory part of our recruitment process.**Package Description****Additional Information*** **40** hours per week (minimum) guaranteed on a 5/7 rota* Basic hourly rate of **16.00 (**which includes an additional **4.20** per hour allowance) ****** Overtime and extra shifts are available (paid at time and half)*****ArrowXL will operate a discretionary, non-contractual reward scheme for Driver colleagues (Class1 Licence holders). Eligible colleagues will receive a **4.20** allowance paid as a supplement on top of the basic hourly rate of pay.
