**Class 1 Trunk Driver****Class 1 Trunk Driver***Location* Huntingdon *Department* Driving *Advertising Salary* 31000 ** Class 1 Trunk Driver**About The Role****Class 1 Trunking Driver - Huntingdon**As a key worker working in our Healthcare Division, you play a key part in the success of phs.Being an experienced Class 1 Service Driver in our Healthcare division, your responsibilities will include service (collection & disposal) of health related waste products ranging from Pharmaceutical, Non-Hazardous Waste & Hazardous Clinical (Sharps, Orange Bags etc). The role is both internal and external facing, with daily interface with depots, customers & suppliers.**A day in the life of a Class 1 Service Driver at phs will involve;**You will follow planned routes, using PDA devices to confirm collections, manage any site access issues. We use in-cab technology but if you can operate a satellite navigation device and a smart phone, you will have no problem with these.* You will be using double decker trailers and a tractor unit, designed specifically for the service we provide.* Bin exchanges on site. Collecting full bins and leaving empty bins.* Completing hazardous consignment notes & transfer notes on your PDA.* Returning to your allocated depot every day.**The ideal candidate for a Class 1 Service Driver role at phs will:*** Safety and legal compliance are a must.
