Primary ResponsibilitiesIn the role of Senior GIS Analyst, we'll count on you toIndependently organize, conceptualize and conduct large, advanced spatial analyses as project manager or GIS technical team leader using ArcGIS software from Esri.Work with non-GIS Project Managers and clients to design and effectively employ GIS on projects, including CAD-GIS project workflows.Establish client relations and be actively involved with marketing, contracting, design and production meetings.Prepare quality assurance plans for GIS task and oversee their implementation.Supervise the GIS work of other professionals and ensure the successful completion of GIS projects or GIS tasks.Develop vector and raster spatial analysis models using ModelBuilder, Python or other GIS scripting languages.Develop geodatabase schemas and analysis methods needed to support project goals.Develop and support web GIS applications using Esri Experience Builder, Story Maps, Field Maps, Survey 123 within ArcGIS Online platform.Communicate and collaborate with individuals from a wide variety of backgrounds, both technical and non-technical.Perform other duties as needed.

Required QualificationsBachelors in Geography, Planning, Data Sciences, Engineering or relevant field.Minimum of 10 years practical GIS experience; an advanced degree in relevant field may offset 2 years of experience.Extensive experience with Esri ArcGIS Pro software, scripting and extensions (ModelBuilder, Python, Spatial Analyst, 3D Analyst, Linear Referencing, etc.)Extensive experience in map generation and data visualization.Extensive experience applying geospatial concepts, methodologies and solutions on infrastructure projects.Extensive experiencing with ArcGIS Online platform and associated products such as Experience Builder, Story Maps, Field Maps and Survey 123.Expertise with developing geodatabases and schemas (domains, subtypes), Access/SQL and other databases.Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access).Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to multi-task and stay organized. Highly responsive to requests from clients.Ability to serve as GIS project leader including development of technical approach, scheduling and quality assurance.An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must.
