Above all, we believe that collaboration is the best way forward.HDR is hiring an experienced Senior Geographic Information System (GIS) Analyst with advanced working knowledge in enterprise and web Esri GIS Systems (Portal/AGOL) to join our growing GIS team. Our team delivers exciting and cutting-edge solutions to many different market sectors including the federal government, local utilities, city government, and private clients. Our team continues to be recognized by Esri for achievement in innovation and project delivery in the AEC market sector and we want you to be a part of our team.Primary ResponsibilitiesIndependently configure Esri Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) solutions in ArcGIS Online and EnterpriseIndependently perform advanced spatial analyses using ArcGIS or other GIS softwareLeverage understanding of geodatabase design conceptsManage, maintain, and troubleshoot ArcGIS EnterpriseIndependently organize and deliver large complex GIS analysis projects either as a Project Manager or GIS technical team leaderWork with non-GIS Project Managers and clients to design and effectively employ GISDevelop vector and raster spatial analysis models using Spatial Model Builder, Python or other GIS scripting languagesServe as GIS lead for project marketing, budget development and resource schedulingPrepare quality control and assurance plans for GIS tasks and oversee their implementationPerform other duties as needed

Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Geography, Planning, Engineering, Natural Sciences or closely related fieldA minimum of 10 years of practical GIS experience; advanced degree in relevant field may offset 5 yearsProficient in use of ArcGIS and ArcGIS extensions (3D Analyst, Spatial Analyst, Publisher, etc.)Expertise in data gathering and analysis, including statistics and geostatistics.Working knowledge of database subtypes, domains, attribute rules, and contingent valuesExperience with Experience Builder, Web App Builder, Esri Dashboards, Story MapsProficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access)Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to write reports that summarize spatial analyses and communicate findings with charts, tables and narrativeAbility to serve as a GIS project leader including development of technical approach, scheduling, and quality control and assurance

Preferred QualificationsAbility to customize/configure Esri Industry SolutionsExperience in remote sensing, asset management, ArcSDE, ArcGIS Server, or mobile GIS (ArcGIS Mobile, ArcPad)GISP, AICP, PE or other professional certificationWorking knowledge of Extract Transform Load (ETL) techniques using geoprocessing, model builder and FME tools.Experience with scripting languages (python, arcade, R)Experience with Esri GeoBIM, Urban, Indoors, Utility NetworkExperience with relational databasesExperience with application development processesExperience with administrating ArcGIS Online/Enterprise
