JOB SUMMARY:The Senior Business Analyst will lead stakeholders across the front office, and other departments within development of requirements, process flows, testing and implementation in support of highly complex programs. The person will lead detailed analysis work as part of a broader program team, and in direct support of a program manager aligned with the Investments Transformation Office. The Senior Business Analyst role requires a very good, detailed understanding of an Investment Management firm's front office, have proven experience in conducting and producing quality analysis and delivering projects across Investments front office. The person will also need excellent communication skills, be detailed oriented, very hands on and have experience of leading activities, working collaboratively, and producing quality deliverables.

RESPONSIBILITIES:Work collaboratively, with business and technology teams and stakeholders, to conduct analysis, understand requirements and produce detailed project artifacts including requirements documents and other analysis documentation.Actively build SME across key Investments businesses, processes, and systems to effectively represent Investments in a variety of projects to influence, hold to account and provide transparency.Lead collaborative partnerships and dialog across multiple business units and functions.Build excellent working relationships with various teams and functions across the organization as required...Lead and facilitate discussions and meetings, ensuring they are task oriented, and objective driven to ensure the efficient use of everyone's time who are involved.Escalate risks and issues to the program manager as appropriate.Perform work according to established methodology and standards.Represent the project in various project governance and inter-department forums.Define and track project milestones.Facilitate all operational checkpoint activities throughout the lifecycle of projects.Assess and resolve all high priority project risks as they are encountered.Business Requirements

Lead requirements gathering sessions.Document detailed functional requirements.Obtain signoff on requirements.Ensure traceability of requirements to ensure solution meets requirements.Process, procedure, and playbook developmentLead walkthroughs for complex front, middle and back-office processesDocument current and future state process flows and obtain signoff from business partners.Develop context flows as needed to illustrate requested changes.Assist the business in development of related procedures and playbooks as needed.TestingDevelop integrated testing plan.Oversee the E2E testing including development of detailed plan to include criteria, stakeholders, environments, etc., deliver against test plan, monitor progress against plan, monitor defects.Launch planning and delivery.Developed and monitor detailed launch plan.Develop launch reporting.Perform detailed analysis as needed.QUALIFICATIONS:

Required:§ 8+ years Asset Management experience.§ 4+ years Front Office Investment Management project delivery experience.§ 4+ years Front Office Investment Management business analyst experience.§ Worked closely with Portfolio Managers, Portfolio Analysts, and other members of an Investment Manager's front office in either a project manager or business analyst capacity.§ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.§ Excellent problem-solving skills and being able to work with people across multiple locations.§ Experience of facilitating meetings with stakeholders to review and solve key issues.§ Well organized and self-motivated.§ Ability to work well with people with varying technical, business, and cultural backgrounds.§ Experience working with senior management in formal presentations, escalations, and issue resolutions.§ Strong negotiation and influencing skills.§ Experience with Microsoft Project, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.§ Ability to translate and simplify complex business and technical concepts.§ Ability to work well with people with varying technical, business, and cultural backgrounds.§ Comfortable working with executive management.§ Ability to manage multiple medium and large projects.§ High level of analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred:

Led a team of business analysts, produce business requirements documents and other detailed documentation in a major front office strategic program.Experience managing senior sponsors - 4 years minimum.Excellent Microsoft Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and SharePoint skills.Excellent presentation skills.
